Job Title: Processing Cook

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verify 95% yields and P.C.
  • Operate load cells, Genis System, water meter, oil meter, air mixer, agitator, cooker, and cherry barrel.
  • Operate within compliance of USDA and TQA program standards.
  • Ensure that recipe book cooking procedures are being followed.
  • Maintain work area clean and organized at all times.
  • Work under a team concept.
  • Treat all employees fair with respect and dignity.
  • Attend all training and scheduled meetings.
  • Follow company policy, rules, and regulations.
  • Use a rod height.
  • Read and understand the concept of the production schedule.

SKILLS:

  • Must have basic math skills and be able to pass a math exam with a minimum score of at least 70%.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Must be able to read and write Spanish or English.
  • Able to perform under extreme temperatures.
  • Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack to move materials.
